Konstantinos Giannakis received his BSc and his MSc in Informatics from Department of Informatics, Ionian University in Corfu, Greece (in 09/2011 and 02/2013, respectively). He is a PhD candidate at the same department under the supervision of Theodore Andronikos awaiting the defense of his thesis. His research interests are related to the Theory of Computation, Algorithms, Automata Theory, Algorithms, Quantum and Unconventional Computation, Probabilistic models of Computation and Logic, and Semantic Web. He has participated in funded projects, mainly as a developer. He is a member of the associations “Computability in Europe”, IEEE Computer Society, and ACM SIGACT and a founding member of the research group QUIT (Quantum and UnconventIonal CompuTing group) at the same department. He has served as a reviewer for various conferences and journals with high impact.
